Explore the history and culture of the francophone urban centre of Montreal before embarking on a scenic train passage to Quebec City. Spend one night in Quebec City followed by an unforgettable night in a magnificent ice and snow cathedral at the world famous Hotel de Glace Ice Hotel. Each unique room is decorated with original artwork and furniture carved from ice blocks. Guests sleep on a cozy bed of deer pelts with sleeping bags and provided pillows. The hotel features an onsite Nordic-style spa and a nearby Nordic activity centre with available snowshoes and cross country skis for exciting winter activities.

Day 1. Arrive Montreal. After arriving in Montreal, make your way to your accommodation where you will spend the next 2 nights. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2. Montreal. Today you enjoy a fascinating sightseeing tour of Montreal. Highlights of this fully-narrated tour area include: a photo stop at the beautiful Notre Dame (entrance not included), the residential and
financial districts, historic Old Montreal, an outside view of the Olympic Complex, a photo stop at St Joseph Oratory, an outside view of the campus of McGill University and a panoramic view from an observation point on top of Mont Royal. The tour features more than 200 points of interest.
Day 3. Montreal to Quebec City. Make you way to the VIA Rail Station and board your train for a scenic journey to Quebec City. Travelling along the northern shore of the St. Lawrence River, you pass charming Cap-de-la-Madeleine with its national shrine to the Virgin Mary and the historic community of Trois-Rivières. Upon arrival in Quebec City, make your way to the Hotel Pur and spend the remainder of the day at leisure or exploring the
intriguing shops that line the city streets.
Day 4. Quebec City to Hotel De Glace. In the morning we suggest you take some time to discover the unique history of one of Canada's oldest cities. Quebec City is the only city in North America with city walls and gates earning it a United Nations World Heritage Site distinction. You may choose to visit such sights as the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Fortifications, the National Assembly or Place Royale and the Basilica. In the afternoon, make youor way to the Welcome Pavilion of the Hotel de Glace and check-in for your one-night stay. During this time you may take a guided tour (available between 12:00 – 17:30) of the hotel and the
sculpture park surrounding it, or enjoy a drink at the famous N'Ice club Bar in the hotel lobby. After a day of touring, you may wish to visit the spa area and relax in the whirlpool. In the evening, proceed to your room (available between 21:00 - 08:00) with walls covered with original artwork and furniture carved from ice blocks. You'll sleep on a cozy bed of deer pelts with sleeping bags and provided pillows.
Day 5. Return to Montreal. This morning enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Celsius Pavilion of the Hotel de Glace. After checking out, make your way to the train station for your return trip to Montreal on board VIA Rail.
