Day 1.Arrive Ottawa. Check into your centrally located gay-friendly hotel where you will spend the next 2 nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Perhaps a visit to the ByWard Market - an outdoor farmers market and chic shopping district by day, and a meeting place of restaurants, pubs and chic clubs by night.
Day 2.Canadian Museum of Civilization and War Museum. Beginning with its unique architecture, this museum of Canadian heritage will fascinate visitors with its many historical collections spread out over 4 floors. With the aid of a personal audio headset, tour the exhibits including the Canadian Postal Museum, an IMAX theatre, and the popular Children's Museum. Also included is admission to the Canadian War Museum, showcasing artifacts from Canada's conflicts both as a part of the British Forces and under its own flag. Artwork, displays, vehicles and uniforms are just some of the fascinating elements on display.
