Day 1. Arrive Quebec City. Upon arrival in Quebec City, please make your way to the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac where you will spend the next two nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Quebec City Sightseeing. Embark on a historical walking tour of Old Quebec and learn about its colourful past beginning in 1608 and continuing into the present day. You'll also have the advantage of being in a small group led by guides who are always open to questions, favouring a more relaxed and personal sightseeing excursion.

Day 3. Le Massif Train/Quebec City to La Malbaie. Board Le Massif de Charlevoix train for one of the most scenic rail experiences in Eastern Canada. Travelling along the shores of the St. Lawrence River, you view the pastoral communities, old-growth forests and rugged landscapes through the wide windows of your comfortable rail coach car. En route a delicious three-course lunch is served, presenting a menu rich with local ingredients and provincial delicacies. In the early afternoon, you arrive in beautiful La Malbaie and the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. Day 4. Whale Watching. Today you are transferred from the hotel to the small village of Navette and embark on a whale watching cruise on the St. Lawrence River. Learn about the behavior and biology of the beluga and finback whales, their environment and other underwater marine life of the region. After a return transfer to the hotel, you may enjoy a stroll around the forested grounds of the manoir, or perhaps try your luck at the Riviera-inspired casino.

Day 5. At Leisure. Wake to the fresh air of this naturalist's paradise for a second full day at the resort. You may choose to relax and unwind with a treatment created in Europe and perfected at the on-site Charlevoix Health Club. Afterwards, perhaps cool off with a dip in the pool or visit one of the steam rooms. Day 6. As the sun begins to set, you are treated to a spectacular four-course meal designed by a Fairmont executive chef, creating a truly unbelievable dining experience.
